V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Construction Project Manager in our Ohio office, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world.
You'll change the shape of your community by moving earth to pave the way for progress, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Heavy Construction team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.
Here's what you'll do:
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts specific to earthwork scopes
- Partner with field leadership to anticipate risks related to soil conditions, weather, and equipment availability
- Maintain accurate documentation, schedules, and cost projections throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead and manage earthwork, stabilization, and stormwater-related projects, including excavation, grading, stabilization, and site development.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Mentor and support junior project managers and team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
We're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management in the construction industry with a focus on self-performed trade work.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale earthwork trade contracts.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, soils, stabilization materials, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical writing skills applied to proposals and project administration
