Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PICU position at a pediatric hospital in Ohio, requiring recent Level 1 experience and willingness to float to multiple units.

Details

• Position is based in a pediatric hospital PICU setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Floating required to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical/surgical units as needed
• Appropriate unit assignments will be provided when floating

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience highly preferred; first-time travelers should have closer to 3 years
• Recent Level 1 experience required
• Two supervisory references required, including at least one supervisor or manager (charge nurse references not accepted)

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered with closer to 3 years of PICU experience
• Local candidates are not accepted for this RN position
• Candidates who have worked permanently at this facility must have a gap of at least 2 years before being considered
• No call/no shows are taken very seriously and may result in termination on the second offense
