Full-Time Home Visitor
The Henry County Health Department’s Help Me Grow Program is seeking a dedicated full-time Help Me Grow Home Visitor to provide services in Northwest Ohio. This role involves conducting home visits, completing screenings, developing Family Plans, and delivering parenting education. Responsibilities include data entry, collaborating with referral sources, and providing evidence-based education on topics like child safety and lactation. The position requires a minimum of an associate degree in social or behavioral sciences, early childhood development, or a related field, with a bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in home-based therapy, mental health, or crisis intervention. The role demands a valid Ohio driver’s license, the ability to obtain a Home Visitor credential within two months of hire, and potentially other certifications within 18 months. This in-person position offers flexible hours (21–28 per week) at $20.10/hour, with benefits such as paid time off, a retirement plan, and an employee assistance program.
Spanish language skills are preferred and prior home-visiting experience are preferred.
