Test Engineer – Electrical Systems (2–5 Years Experience)

Join our Test Engineering team to conduct electrical testing and inspections in compliance with UL , NEC , IEEE , and NETA standards, ensuring safety and reliability across a range of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Testing & Inspection

Perform comprehensive electrical tests on: UL 891 Deadfronted Switchboards, UL 414 Utility Metering Enclosures, UL 1008 Transfer Switches, UL 508A Control Panels/Service Pedestals, ANSI Metal Clad Switchgear, Generator Connection, Enclosures (Cam-Loks)

• Standards & Compliance:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge and application of UL, NEC, IEEE, NETA, and related industry codes.

• Troubleshooting & Reporting

Diagnose electrical/mechanical issues, analyze test results, and provide detailed reports with corrective actions.

• Safety Assurance

Implement and uphold safety protocols; identify and mitigate risks in electrical systems.

• Test Equipment Management

Calibrate and maintain test equipment; manage inventory and ensure readiness.

• Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with engineers and project managers; provide clear updates and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Product Support

Assist with start-ups, troubleshooting, warranty claims, sourcing replacement parts, and vendor coordination.

Occasional travel for on-site support as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
