Regional Business Development Manager
Job brief
We are currently seeking a Regional Business Development Manager (RBDM), you will be responsible for identifying and securing new customer business while re-engaging lost accounts. The role focuses on building a portfolio of $3M$5M in annual sales. Key activities include customer relationship management, sales strategy execution, and cross-functional collaboration. A competitive base salary and commission structure is offered.
Responsibilities
- Drive $3M$5M in new business sales annually across assigned territories and industry segments
- Maintain a diverse sales pipeline with a minimum of $20M in potential growth opportunities
- Build and sustain strong customer relationships at the local/regional level
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to expand brand visibility and develop leads
- Match customer needs to organizational solutions through consultative selling
- Travel frequently within the region to support prospecting, closing, and account management activities
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 35 years of experience in a regional or national sales role
- Preferred background in logistics, industrial packaging, transportation, or pallet/container-related industries
- Strong track record in B2B sales, client management, and business development
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software
