Position Overview

Tippecanoe Valley High School is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-centered Head Girls

Tennis Coach to lead our high school tennis program. The successful candidate will take over a program

coming off a highly successful 2024–2025 season, with strong returning athletes and a growing culture of

commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship. This is an exciting opportunity for a coach ready to build upon

recent success and continue developing a championship-caliber program that emphasizes skill

development, character, and academic excellence.

Responsibilities

 Lead, organize, and oversee all aspects of the Tippecanoe Valley High School Girls Tennis program.

 Develop and implement effective practice plans focused on skill improvement, strategy, and

competitive play.

 Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership among student-athletes.

 Maintain strong communication with players, families, staff, and administration.

 Support the academic success and personal growth of all student-athletes.

 Foster positive relationships with youth and community tennis programs to sustain long-term

program growth.

 Uphold all IHSAA, Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation, and conference rules and expectations.

Qualifications

 Prior successful coaching experience preferred (head coaching experience strongly encouraged).

 Deep understanding of tennis fundamentals, match strategy, and conditioning principles.

 Demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes in a positive, respectful manner.

 Excellent organizational and communication skills.

 Must meet all coaching certification and background check requirements.
