Precision Maintenance Machinist (CNC/Conventional)

Lincoln Electric
Cleveland, OH

Join Lincoln Electric as a Precision Maintenance Machinist

Location: Euclid

Day in the life

You start your day reviewing a requisition and blueprint for a worn production component. You choose the stock, square it up, and set feeds, speeds, and temperatures on a conventional mill. After cutting, drilling, and tapping, you shift to a CNC to rework a spare part for another department. Before lunch, you train a newer machinist on dialing in a lathe and using a micrometer to verify tolerances. In the afternoon, you collaborate with Engineering and your Group Leader to troubleshoot a line-critical repair, adjust your schedule to keep production moving, and document the work completed for maintenance records. Throughout, you lead with safety and quality, reporting hazards and aligning with company procedures.
