Inbound Supervisor- Cleveland, Ohio
JOB SUMMARY:
The Inbound Supervisor assumes primary responsibility for supervising and tasking the everyday
functions of Inbound Gear in the tour Prep Department ensuring that all gear is promptly checked-in
when entering the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Supervise inbound tour prep employees
• Responsible for ensuring that all inbound gear, both owned and new, is checked in and/or
properly recorded into inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the
knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising
independent judgment and discretion.
• Proficient knowledge of Clair gear and tour prep practices
• Strong communication skills with the ability to relate to various groups of internal and external
customers
• High level attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to supervise and lead the department by establishing goals and providing direction
• Ability to troubleshoot effectively and efficiently
• Must be available by phone or email during off hours
• Must be computer literate with a willingness to improve knowledge base moving forward
• Familiar with the use of usual office machinery, timecard systems, and a security system
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• High School diploma plus 5 or more years' experience working in a warehouse or related field
• Experience with the order fulfillment process
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Experience supervising, mentoring, and coaching employees
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Employee Supervision
1. Employee time clock enrollment and timecard approvals
2. Diagnose and resolve department and employee issues
Department Management
1. Responsible for getting tour gear and warehouse shipments checked in in a timely manner. (at a
maximum within 3 days)
2. Enter purchased equipment into the ERP system.
3. Confer with other department managers and operations coordinators to coordinate warehouse
activities
4. Coordinate company inventory between departments and other offices utilizing gear to its fullest
potential on a global basis.
5. Input into ERP software to accurately track, manage, and utilize company owned assets
6. Develop and/or improve packaging of Clair systems
7. Collaborate on a regular basis with Clair operations personnel
8. Participate in loading and unloading trucks when necessary
9. Open and lock building when necessary
10. Perform such other duties and functions as required from time to time
