CNC Programmer - Direct Hire

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This individual will be responsible for creating programs, drawings, and workbooks using 3D CAD/CAM software, managing CNC operations, and ensuring production efficiency and quality!

Direct Hire Position!
Location: Streetsboro, OH
Shift: 1 st (flexible hours with 6 am to 8 am start time)
Pay Rate: $80k-$100k based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Create programs, drawings, and workbooks using 3D CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks & SolidCAM)
• Manage CNC work orders, materials, and fixturing requirements
• Edit CNC programs to improve performance or meet specific job requirements
• Perform first-piece setups on CNC machines to ensure correct operation
• Troubleshoot CNC programming and tooling issues as they arise
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality departments for new job approvals
• Assist CNC operators with job execution and inspection procedures
• Support the tool crib with tooling and setup requirements
• Perform other duties as needed

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in CNC programming and machining
• Proficient with SolidWorks, SolidCAM, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong background in advanced shop math
• Proficient in the use of precision inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, dial indicators)
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and machine shop equipment
• Ability to design or select specialized cutting tools and fixtures for production
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
