Position Overview

A full-service law firm with multiple offices across numerous states is seeking a highly motivated Business Litigation Associate to join their Cincinnati office. This role involves managing complex business litigation matters from inception through trial, with opportunities to develop expertise in sophisticated commercial disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of complex business litigation cases
• Develop and execute comprehensive case strategies from filing through trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation matters
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including motion arguments and examinations
• Collaborate with attorneys and litigation support staff on complex legal issues
• Maintain regular client communication regarding case developments and legal guidance
• Stay current with relevant legal and industry developments

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Ohio
• Three to five (3-5) years of business litigation experience
• Proven track record of successful litigation outcomes
• Expertise in complex business litigation, including case evaluation and discovery
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
