Accounts Payable Specialist (Direct Hire | $60K–$65K)

Full-Time | Direct Hire (Permanent Role)
Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 per year
Express Employment Professionals Akron is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist for a direct hire opportunity with a reputable company in Cuyahoga Falls. This is a fast-moving role —ideal for candidates ready to start quickly and grow within a stable organization.
Key Responsibilities- Process high-volume vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness
- Review and approve employee expense reports in compliance with company policies
- Manage and reconcile company credit card transactions
- Execute weekly vendor payments and maintain payment schedules
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve AP workflows and processes
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable, Accounting, or Bookkeeping experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with ERP or accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc. a plus)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Solid communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred
