Business Systems Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a Contract role with a client in Columbus, OH . The ideal candidate must have experience working with Salesforce and Varicent, including configuration, requirements analysis, and Agile product development.

Rate Range: $51/hour to $53/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Systems Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.

• Perform hands‑on configuration and support of Varicent , including compensation plan logic and workflow setup.

• Serve as a functional analyst for Salesforce , supporting process enhancements, troubleshooting, and system improvements.

• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories within Agile frameworks.

• Collaborate with product owners and cross‑functional teams to support Agile product lifecycle activities.

• Perform gap analysis, data validation, process mapping, and system impact assessments.

• Support SQL‑based data analysis and reporting (nice‑to‑have).

• Ensure alignment between business requirements, technical design, and system capabilities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience Required:

  • 6+ years of experience with Varicent and Salesforce .

  • Strong experience in Varicent configuration and compensation workflows.

  • Background in Salesforce business systems analysis.

• Nice‑to‑Have Skills:

  • Agile Product Development / Product Management

  • SQL

  • Experience with business process analysis tools

• Certifications:

  • Active Salesforce Certifications required.

• Extension Probability:

  • High likelihood of extension based on performance.

Pay Details: $51.00 to $53.00 per hour
