Schedule:

• Day Shift
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 12-Hour Shifts
• 36 Guaranteed Hours Weekly
• 30-Minute Meal Break

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/T-LPN) for a travel assignment in Elkins, WV. This position supports long-term care and rehabilitation residents by delivering quality nursing care in a structured healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience providing patient-centered care within long-term care or skilled nursing settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to long-term care and rehabilitation residents
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly to supervising staff
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and charting
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes
• Collaborate with CNAs, nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Support infection control and resident safety standards
• Respond effectively to emergencies and patient care needs
• Promote compassionate and respectful resident-centered care

Requirements

• Active LPN license required
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Strong medication administration and patient assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
