Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Internal Medicine/Telemetry Unit (Med/Surg Tele)
• Contract Length: 18 weeks
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: January 19, 2026
• Nursing Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts per week (Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am; 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights as needed)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Locum Tenens
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250 - $2310

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State nursing license
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (all active)
• One supervisory reference in telemetry nursing specialty
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Ability to work every other holiday during contract
• Background check and fingerprinting required

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Internal Medicine/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital policies
