Legal & Compliance Counsel

* Put necessary controls in place to ensure compliance with internal policies, applicable laws and regulations, including FCPA, the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act, the Fair Competition Codes, anti-bribery laws, Antimonopoly laws, and the Act on the protection of Personal Information.* Assist internal investigations and related interviews where necessary.* Work cross-functionally to ensure ongoing activities (including interactions with HCPs) meets with industry norms and requirements on ethical interactions, to audit and monitor to ensure compliance with those norms and requirements.* Work with the International Legal & Compliance team including implementing global compliance policy & procedure, legal & compliance training program to associates, streamlining work processes, etc.* Design and conduct compliance training.* Support and conduct third-party due diligence and suggest for mitigation plans.* Conduct compliance risk assessments and monitoring in collaboration with internal audit teams.* Operate or proactively participate in Japan Compliance Committee.* Conduct disciplinary committees in collaboration with HR* At least PQE 8-12 years working experience in law firm/in-house.* Legal degree equivalent or above.* Legal practicing certificate.
