**Job Summary**
The Talent Acquisition Specialist Senior is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). With this role's greater level of experience, the Talent Acquisition Specialist Senior can manage technical and non-technical exempt professional positions and management positions and other related responsibilities as assigned. This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal guidance. This role can also serve as a useful resource toother less seasoned Talent Acquisition employees.
**Job Description**
**What You'll Do:**
+ **Talent Acquisition:** Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for a variety of positions, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and extending offers.
+ **Strategic Partnerships:** Collaborate with hiring managers to understand departmental needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
+ **Market Research:** Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor practices to attract top talent and enhance the company's employer brand.
+ **Candidate Experience:** Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process.
+ **Performance Metrics:** Track and report on recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and improve processes.
**What We're Looking For:**
+ **Education Experience:** Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field preferred; or equivalent years of experience.
+ **Experience:** Five years' corporate experience in recruitment and placement of applicants in professional and management level exempt positions including 3 years of knowledge and experience working with electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources. **** Valid driver's license.
+ **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage candidates and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
+ **Analytical Skills:** Strong analytical skills to assess candidate qualifications and recruitment strategies.
+ **Adaptability:** Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S - Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Candidates will be considered based on their qualifications and the candidate's ability to work from an approved work location. Although the location is flexible, AEP does not have a presence in all states and localities.
