Locum MD (Medical Doctor);DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Specialty Otolaryngology

Description

In this role, you will provide expert care in the field of Otolaryngology, addressing a wide range of conditions related to the ear, nose, and throat. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare providers. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with ENT conditions
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
• Perform surgical procedures as needed, adhering to best practices
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Stay updated on advancements in Otolaryngology and healthcare trends
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license in the state of Ohio
• Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology
• Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience in a similar role or specialty preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is a plus

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour clinic shifts

Clinic, OR, and call shifts are available

Level I Trauma facility

Patient Census: 36-40 per day

All pediatric ENT procedures are required, including airways

Support Staff: 3 APPs

EMR: Epic

Pediatric fellowship is strongly preferred

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
