POSITION : ELEMENTARY SECRETARY I Effective 2024-25 School Year LOCATION : SOUTHDALE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GENERAL INFORMATION : To provide clerical, secretarial and administrative assistance to school administrators at a school site, conveying information regarding school functions and procedures; and supporting the broad array of services provided to students, parents, instructional and support employees; and to coordinate work of other school clerical employees. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List : Perform general secretarial duties (i.e. answering phones, relaying messages, schedule meetings, copying, etc. Proficiency with tracking and creating reports needed for the department. Proficient in computer skills (Google, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite) and interpersonal skills. Great attention to detail and prioritizing workloads. Maintains confidentiality within all databases and student records. QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List : High School diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge of applications necessary to access timely and relevant information and be able to disseminate same.
