Cashier/Automotive Parts Specialist 1
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their part needs.
- Identify and recognize various automotive parts accurately.
- Direct and manage customer traffic in the lobby to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform cashier duties, including processing transactions and handling cash.
- Communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management to ensure a positive experience.
- Work a 40-hour week, 8:30 am - 6:30 pm (Summer Hours) with shifts Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Qualifications
- Experience with automobile part identification is required.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Proficient in verbal and written English; bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain attentive to customer needs.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
- Physical ability to move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand throughout the day, with occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
Compensation
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
