Position: RN-Medical Surgical-Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status regularly.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to meet organizational goals.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

• Adapt to changing patient needs and work environment effectively.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio or compact state.

• Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Strong communication skills for patient and team interactions.

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in nursing.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and environments.

• Experience with patient education and health management.
