Job Title: Breakfast and Public Area Attendant
Reports To: Assistant General Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Hours: Part-time (12-18 hrs); must be available to work weekends and holidays
Pay: $15.00/hr

Join our team as a Breakfast and Public Area Attendant , where you'll be the friendly face that brightens guests' mornings with breakfast! In addition, with great service and attention to detail, you’ll ensure that every guest enjoys their stay at the hotel in a clean and welcoming environment.
What You'll Do as Breakfast Attendant:
- Create an Inviting Atmosphere: Maintain a beautiful breakfast bar, making sure everything looks delicious and is fully stocked.
- Keep Things Fresh: Brew fresh coffee, replenish food, and ensure the breakfast spread stays warm and inviting until the last minute!
- Engage with Guests: Make connections! Greet guests with a smile, assist with any requests, and ensure everyone feels welcome.
- Wrap Up in Style: After breakfast hours, clean up and restock, so tomorrow's guests enjoy the same great service.
- Clean and Safe: Keep the breakfast area spotless by wiping down tables, cleaning equipment, and mopping floors. Maintain a clutter-free work environment, ensuring safety at all times.
- Team Spirit: Help with food orders, inventories, and setting up for special events as needed.
What You'll Do as Public Area Attendant:
- Create a Welcoming Area: Keeping the public areas looking and smelling clean while making sure everything is fully stocked.
- Cleanliness is Key: Keep the hallways, stairwells, pool area, fitness room, guest laundry and ice machine areas spotless..
- Presentation: Ensure the hotel is inviting by keep the areas clean and stocked including the entrances and outdoor areas.
- Safe & Tidy: Maintain a clutter-free work environment, ensuring safety at all times. Remove all trash from receptacles.
- Team Spirit: Assist the other departments, when needed..
Your Skills:
- Customer Service Guru: You love making people feel special and can handle any situation with grace and a smile.
- Safety Champion: Always conscious of a clean, safe workspace, you follow food safety and handling cleaning procedures.
- Communication Star: You’re confident speaking with guests, asking questions, and sharing a joke or two!
- Time Management Pro: You know how to prioritize and get things done efficiently, so everything goes smoothly.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Food service experience and/or Food Handler's Certificate is a plus. Housekeeping and Hospitality experience is even better!
- Team Player: We want someone who loves interacting with people and is always eager to help.
- Physical Fitness: This is a fast-paced role that involves standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and staying on the move!
