Position Overview
Seven Hills is seeking a Head Coach for our JV Girls Volleyball team(s). This role is critical in supporting the overall success of the volleyball program by developing student-athletes and preparing them for the varsity level.
We are looking for a culture builder and strong communicator who is organized, positive, and committed to player development. The JV Head Coach will work closely with the Varsity staff to ensure alignment across all levels of the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the JV Girls Volleyball team, including practices and game management
- Focus on skill development, fundamentals, and game understanding
- Build a positive, inclusive, and competitive team culture
- Communicate effectively with players, families, and the coaching staff
- Collaborate with the Varsity Coach to align program goals and expectations
- Support overall program development and continuity from Middle School to Varsity
- Uphold Seven Hills and MVC standards of sportsmanship and professionalism
Qualifications
- Previous playing or coaching experience (high school or higher preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to teach and develop fundamental volleyball skills
- Commitment to working within a team-oriented coaching staff
Preferred
- Experience coaching at the high school or club level
- Interest in long-term program development
Compensation
Stipend commensurate with experience.
