We're looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer - Metal Fabrication & Estimating to play a key role in estimating, process planning, and solving complex fabrication challenges for our customers. What You'll Do

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to develop accurate labor, material, and production cost estimates
• Review project requirements and determine the most efficient manufacturing processes
• Prepare estimates used for bidding, project planning, scheduling, vendor selection, and profitability analysis
• Collaborate with sales, operations, production, customers, and vendors to develop practical solutions and resolve technical challenges
• Evaluate machine capabilities, production methods, and fabrication requirements to support efficient manufacturing
• Conduct studies to establish standard labor hours, improve processes, and identify cost-reduction opportunities
• Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities and coordinate meetings with management support
• Assist with process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
• Identify and communicate safety concerns and opportunities for improvement
• Serve as a key technical resource throughout the quoting and manufacturing process

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing engineering, estimating, process engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, manufacturing methods, and production planning
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Knowledge of fabrication equipment and machine capabilities
• SolidWorks experience required
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Sales experience a plus
