Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist position in Marion. Key Responsibilities:
· Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision metal components.
· Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations.
· Load raw materials, perform tool changes, and monitor machine operation for accuracy and consistency.
· Make offsets, minor program edits, and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and part specifications.
· Inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with safety and quality standards.
· Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
· Perform routine maintenance checks on machines and report any issues promptly.
· Accurately document production data, inspections, and any process changes.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in machining preferred.
· Proven experience operating CNC mills or lathes in a production environment.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
· Familiarity with basic G-code programming and machine controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, or similar).
· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
· Capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods.
· Team-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
· Flexibility to work swing shift and occasional overtime as needed.
