Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry

Location: Cleveland, OH 44195

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Options:

• Day: 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

• Night: 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Pay Rate: $60 - $65 per hour

Position Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and high-quality care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel or perm).

• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to first travel assignment.

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact State License in hand.

• Certifications Required: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

• Must be willing to work rotating shifts (day/night as needed to meet operational requirements).

• Must be available to work every other holiday .

• Completion of ECG Rhythm Recognition Test and SafeMedicate assessment with acceptable scores during orientation.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in Med/Surg Telemetry units.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; promptly identify and respond to changes in patient condition.

• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.

• Collaborate with physicians, care coordinators, and allied health staff to optimize patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-discharge care, and health management.

• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and hospital policy standards.

• Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance activities.

• Work every other holiday as scheduled.
