Job Description

This position serves as a member of the strength and conditioning team that is committed to excellence and advancing the Department of Athletics through its strategic plan. Supervises and instructs student athletes and coaches in all facets of weight training, conditioning, and nutrition. Serves as strength and conditioning coach for a number of assigned sports. Assists in management of the strength and conditioning area including supervision of students and interns, facility and machine maintenance, budget and record management, and scheduling. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in physical education or exercise science minor

Additional Education Desired

Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Qualifications

Required: Experience in an intercollegiate strength and conditioning program. Ability to work with a diverse population and provide a supportive and motivating environment for student athletes.

Desired: Knowledge and experience working with PC computer applications in a windows environment. Experience with spreadsheet applications.
