Assistant Educator

One full time Assistant Educator needed.
9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday with 60-minute lunch.
Educators get free childcare for one child.


Eick Global STEM Academy is a small business in Monroe, OH. We are professional, creative, and our goal is to develop innovative thinkers and the design process in our students.

We are looking for a dedicated and dependable Educator with a passion for STEM to join our team to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all students, from 18 months through School-Age (11 years).

The ideal candidate has a passion for teaching young children, has experience implementing lesson plans and preparing activities, is willing to assist with daily tasks and is willing to support other classrooms as needed.

This teacher will teach weekly, 1-hour small group STEM/STEAM classes for our Preschool/Pre-K classes.

• Have the ability to create and implement creative and engaging activities that meet the needs of all students, promoting learning and development.
• Have the ability to foster positive relationships with parents/guardians and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Create and Implement STEM/STEAM activities for children.
• Teach scheduled 1 hour weekly small group STEM/STEAM classes for Preschool/Pre-K classes.
• Provide support to Preschool - School-Age Classrooms.
• Assist with daily tasks.
• Supervise and monitor the safety of all children in the classroom and beyond.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Assist with organizing activities that develop motor skills, social skills, and problem-solving skills.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent education.
