Job Title: Safety Manager

Location: Pataskala, OH and Frazeysburg, OH

Salary: Negotiable; Based upon experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Job Description:

We’re looking for a hands-on Safety Manager to play a key role in shaping safety culture across our growing manufacturing facilities.

This is a high-visibility role where you’ll partner directly with leadership, work closely with employees on the production floor, and drive initiatives that make a measurable difference in how work gets done safely every day.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Lead and execute safety strategies across three manufacturing locations

Drive a proactive, behavior-based safety culture by partnering with leadership to integrate safety into daily operations

Serve as a trusted safety resource across all departments

Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations

Develop and deliver safety training programs

Ensure OSHA & EPA compliance, reporting, and recordkeeping

Manage hazard communication programs, including SDS and chemical safety

Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and documentation

Monitor workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs

Lead emergency preparedness efforts and serve as a first responder

Spend significant time on the production floor engaging employees and identifying improvement opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

B.S. in Environmental / Occupational Health and Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of safety experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments developing safety programs, training, and procedures

Strong working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry

Strong working knowledge of environmental compliance regulations, (EPA) required permits, recordkeeping, and reporting.

Excellent communication and leadership skills

CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)

Self-motivated, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
