Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description

The role of a Material Handler involves transporting finished materials from production lines to inventory in the yard. This position requires working outdoors 90% of the time and operating a forklift. Additionally, you will cross-train in the production area to cover for associates who call off.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished materials from production lines to inventory storage in the yard.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in an outdoor environment.
• Assist in the production area by filling in for absent associates.
• Participate in loading and unloading tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of forklift operation experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working outdoors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6 months of production experience is a plus.
• 6 months of machine operation experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily outdoors, requiring adaptability to all weather conditions. The indoor environment is not climate-controlled and may become cramped with scrap material. Candidates should be prepared for these conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of London, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $21.50/hr.
