Maintenance Technician

Join a global supplier of automobile seats and interior trim in a dynamic production environment. The role involves working on seat production and requires team players for 3rd shift (10PM-6AM).

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical components, switches, fixtures, wires, fuses, motors, and circuit breakers.
• Make recommendations for suitable substitutes.
• Work on transformers, controllers, switching relays, contractors, timers, heating devices, disconnects, thermocouples, solenoid valves, and lights.
• Rewire machinery to update specifications, punch holes in boxes, assemble electrical panels.
• Locate, diagnose, and repair machinery with electrical problems.
• Read blueprints, engineering sketches or designs; recognize and interpret details.
• Perform standard computations relating to load requirements of electrical consumers.
• Size for the proper wire and safety devices.
• Keep accurate written records for ordering replacement parts and part quantities.
• Generate spare parts list of high usage components.
• Regularly inspect and adjust manufacturing equipment.
• Oil, grease, align, and clean machinery and mechanical parts.
• Fit bearings, align and synchronize gears, connect belts and chains, replace seals and gaskets, and torque fasteners.

• Experience as an industrial maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment or relevant schooling (Technical School or associate degree in automation, robotics, or electro-mechanical engineering).
• Read and understand drawings.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting pneumatics and hydraulics on manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
• Maintenance of robots, motors, gearbox, electrical components, 480V, 3-phase systems.
• Industrial maintenance, lockout/tagout, welding, and air compressor maintenance.

• 3+ years of welding experience.
• 3+ years of electrical troubleshooting experience (480V, 3-phase).
• Experience working in an automotive manufacturing facility.
• Experience maintaining highly automated production equipment.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced, highly automated manufacturing environment. The facility is large, housing over 600 employees, and offers a clean, climate-controlled atmosphere where you will work on a variety of equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reynoldsburg, OH.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
