Job Title: Machinist | 2nd Shift | $23-$26/HR | Alliance, OH

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Machinists to operate in a dynamic job shop environment. The role involves working with Vertical Mills, CNC machines, and various other equipment. The position is on the 2nd shift, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, located in Alliance, OH.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and edit CNC machines including Mills, Manual Lathe, Brake Presses, and Lasers.
• Make machine edits and tool changes efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Utilize calipers and micrometers to ensure parts remain within tolerance.
• Perform machining on steel, stainless, and brass materials.
• Execute production with shorter run times in a production shop setting.

Essential Skills

• Machining experience with Vertical Mills, Brake Presses, or CNC Lasers.
• Proficiency in setup and tear down of machinery.
• Capability to edit machine programs and perform tool changes.
• Strong job tenure, with 4+ years per company.
• Experience with CNC lathe, CNC mill, milling, vertical mill, horizontal boring mill, vertical lathe, and brake press.

Work Environment

Our facility is newly built in 2021, ensuring a clean, safe, and climate-controlled environment. Expect to work overtime, typically 45-50 hours weekly, with occasional 10 and 12-hour shifts, primarily on the production side. Our company manufactures over 10,000 parts across various industries including data centers, vessels, industrial, commercial, and residential sectors, ensuring a diverse and engaging work experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
