Orion Allied Healthcare is seeking experienced L&D Registered Nurses (RNs)for a travel assignment in Dayton, WY. This is a great opportunity to provide critical care in a supportive environment while enjoying the lifestyle of Wyoming.

- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks (extensions available)
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay: $2,884

Responsibilities
- Closely observe and track the mother's vital signs, fetal heart rate, and contractions.
- Provide continuous physical and emotional support, including coaching during pushing and assisting with pain management techniques.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with labor-inducing procedures or IV lines.
- Help the physician or midwife during a vaginal delivery or prepare for and assist with a Cesarean section.
- Recognize and respond to complications or emergencies that may arise during labor.
- Provide immediate care for the mother as she recovers and monitor for any complications.
- Perform initial assessments on the newborn, such as determining Apgar scores.
- Educate the new parents on newborn care, breastfeeding, and recovery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent L&D RN experience
- Active RN license
- Strong critical care skills and ability to perform in high-acuity settings
