Lead Support Floor Care Technician

Position Overview:

The floor care technician performs special project work, including floor care and occasionally other specialty cleaning projects. The primary goal of this position is to ensure that each job is completed to the highest standards in a reasonable time allocation.

Essential Functions:

• Perform hands-on cleaning and floor care tasks at various commercial facilities including but not limited to:
  • Carpet cleaning
  • Stripping and waxing
  • Buffing floors
  • Grout cleaning
  • Burnishing floors
  • Hard surface restoration
  • Epoxy floor restoration
• Complete floor care projects with other lead/senior floor care team members and independently in accordance with company policies and/or standards.
• Fill staffing/service gaps to ensure the success of cleaning service relationships.
• Help as needed with training and motivating team members, ensuring everyone is aligned with our high standards and efficient cleaning practices.
• Responsible for keys, combinations, and equipment and/or asset control as well as securing the building when work is complete.
• Assist as needed in establishing and maintaining a positive relationship with customers and other team members and address and resolve client service issues promptly.
• Assist management and supervise to ensure the daily operation of specific contract services is delivered to customers in a timely and quality manner.
• Train and motivate team members, ensuring everyone is aligned with our high standards and efficient cleaning practices.
• Help supervise fellow employees and distribute work assignments to employees as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and ensure it functions properly.
• Promptly report worn and broken equipment to the supervisor.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 3 Years Experience Performing Floor Care Projects
• Experience Performing Carpet Cleaning, VCT Restoration, Tile and Grout, Intensive Floor Care Restoration
• Experience Training and Supervising Others (Preferred but not required)
• Ability To Pass a Background Check.
• Must Have A Valid Driver's License.
• Must Be Over 21 Years Old.

Work Location:

The typical shift is 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM
