Permit Coordinator Specialist

Job Description
Position Summary:
The Permitting Project Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support for permitting activities. This role ensures timely submission of applications, maintains accurate documentation, and assists the project team in tracking permit status and requirements.
• Assist in preparing, compiling, and submitting permit applications and supporting documents.
• Track permit applications, approvals, and renewals to ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Maintain project records, databases, and filing systems for all permitting documentation.
• Coordinate communication between project managers, consultants, contractors, and agencies.
• Schedule meetings, inspections, and follow-ups related to permitting activities.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to management on permit statuses.
• Research regulatory requirements and assist in ensuring compliance.
• Support project managers in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders. Qualifications:
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, planning, environmental studies, or related field.
• 2–4 years of administrative, permitting, or project coordination experience.
• Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory requirements preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
