My Pet's Vet is looking for a Customer Service Representative/Vet Assistant with growth opportunities at Baker House Animal Hospital in Morrow, OH. Your basic duties as a CSR are:

• Greeting Clients
• Answering Phones
• Differentiating Between Routine and Emergency Cases
• Scheduling Appointments
• Admitting and Checking Out Patients
• Processing Payments
• Communicating Information Between the Clients and Our Staff

Your basic duties as a Vet Assistant are:

• Take great care of our patients
• Restraint of patients during procedures
• Cleaning kennels, exam rooms and treatment tables
• Run and set up lab tests
• Set up and clean up before/after surgery
• Unload inventory
• Assists in taking digital x-rays
• Work closely in support of our Veterinary Technicians and Doctors

Qualifications and Skills

• We are looking for a candidate who has at least one year of experience in the animal care industry
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Motivated and passionate about helping animals is a must
• Education: High School or Equivalent
• Experience using multiple-line telephone systems.
• Excellent animal-handling skills
• Ability to properly restrain patients
• Ability to complete assigned tasks in the time allotted without direct supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• A commitment to outstanding client service.
• Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 40 pounds with assistance.
