As a Project Manager, you will oversee 5-7+ projects simultaneously. You will collaborate with the sales team to define project requirements at the onset of each project and develop comprehensive project execution plans. Your role will involve working closely with assigned project engineers and teams to execute the scope of work while controlling internal equipment costs, labor costs, and deliveries. You will coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring control of quality, cost, and delivery. It will be your responsibility to ensure projects satisfy the proposed scope of work and customer specifications. Additionally, you will interface with customers for reporting and resolution of issues and provide status, spending, and schedule reporting to both internal and external customers. This role requires traveling to customer sites 25% of the time, with most customers located on the northeast coast.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage 5-7+ projects at a time.

• Collaborate with sales to define project requirements.

• Develop project execution plans.

• Work with project engineers and teams to execute project scope.

• Control internal equipment costs, labor costs, and deliveries.

• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery.

• Ensure project adherence to proposed scope and customer specifications.

• Interface with customers for reporting and issue resolution.

• Provide status, spending, and schedule reports to internal and external customers.

• Travel to customer sites 25% of the time, primarily on the northeast coast.

• Work with customers and internal teams to ensure schedules are met.

• Monitor and control project budgets.

• Hold weekly project team meetings.

• Provide customer updates and meet with customers.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of project management experience in an industrial environment.

• Experience with engineered systems and solutions.

• Ability to manage projects ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with PLC, drives, and HMI products.

• Knowledge of metals processing and construction.

• Degree preferred but not required if candidate has applicable industry experience.

Work Environment

The role is based in an office environment, with rare visits to the shop floor. You will work onsite five days a week. The team size is 4-6 people, and there are seven project managers in total. Company vehicles or car rental/mileage reimbursement is provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eastlake, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
