Assistant Store Manager - Westerville, Ohio

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily store operations and assume leadership in their absence.
• Assist with recruiting, selecting, and retaining qualified team members to ensure optimal staffing levels.
• Motivate and direct store teams to achieve productivity and profitability goals, communicating daily and weekly objectives.
• Promote exceptional customer service through coaching, training, and leading by example.
• Maintain high standards for merchandise presentation and visual displays.
• Ensure compliance with all operational policies and procedures.
• Oversee the buying of gently used clothing and accessories according to company standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of management experience in retail, restaurant, or other fast-paced environments.
• Sales-driven, goal-oriented, and demonstrates high integrity.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to adapt priorities and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, including 2 nights and rotating weekends.
• Physically able to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, climbing ladders, pushing, and repetitive lifting (up to 40 lbs).
• Visual and coordination abilities necessary for inspecting merchandise efficiently.
• Ability to drive at any time during assigned shifts
