Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage field labor, ensuring quality workmanship and operational efficiency on all landscape construction projects.
• Ensure all work meets company standards and exceeds customer expectations.
• Coach, mentor, and hold field staff accountable for performance and deliverables.
• Train and develop foremen, supervisors, and crew members, promoting top performers into leadership roles.
• Implement and enforce company operational standards and procedures across all crews.
• Develop or improve standard operating procedures as needed to enhance performance.
• Ensure crews are equipped daily with the necessary tools, equipment, and materials.
• Enforce company policies regarding material pre-loading, daily safety checks, and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols on all job sites.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure field staff have the resources required for daily operations.
• Communicate daily with the Production Manager regarding project progress, schedules, and adjustments.
• Monitor job costs to achieve budgeted gross margin targets for each project.
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of assigned vehicles, trailers, equipment, and machinery.
• Plays a direct role in snow operations during winter months to optimize profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Landscape Construction Field Manager, Superintendent, Foreman, or Field Supervisor role.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a focus on team development.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with field staff and management.
• Technical expertise in landscape and hardscape construction.
• Valid driver’s license.

Compensation

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year , based on experience.
