Job Title: General Labor - 1st shift - 17/hr
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals for general labor roles within a union facility. This position involves various 'non-skilled' tasks essential to maintaining our high-quality standards in a food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Build totes to house products.
- Monitor the production line to ensure quality and prevent bottlenecks.
- Sift product in packages to ensure proper distribution.
- Clean and maintain the facility areas.
- Be trained and perform multiple 'non-skilled' roles as needed.
Essential Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Ability to consistently lift 20 lbs.
- Attention to detail.
- Capability to perform repetitive and tedious work.
- Adherence to safety and GMP guidelines, including wearing appropriate PPE such as masks, tyvek/lab coats, and steel-toed shoes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test if considered for direct hire.

Work Environment
This is a unionized, food-based large manufacturing facility that emphasizes cleanliness and safety. Employees are required to wear specific attire, including hair nets and protective clothing, and adhere to a smoke-free policy. Available shifts include first shift (Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM) and third shift (Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 PM - 7 AM). A 30-minute unpaid lunch break is provided. The facility conducts scheduled cleaning approximately every six weeks, during which time employees may take time off and apply for unemployment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
