Machinist / Assembly Tech

Advance Here! A Sidney precision parts MFG has Machinist / Assembly Tech jobs @ $25-$33 per hour, BOE. These 1st shift, Assembly/Service techs will assemble, repair and rebuild a wide range of machined, mechanical assemblies.

Job Duties:

• Milling of machine parts for precision assemblies.
• Assemble simple to complex mechanical assemblies per blueprints and drawings.
• Manufacture to End User Assembly Servicing.
• Crate equipment for shipment.
• Approximately 10% travel required for installation. repair and customer training.
• Technical inspection reports and service trip reports
• Work with engineering and sales to resolve assembly issues.
• Provide phone and email support for customers.
• Employee training.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A Valid Driver’s License.
• Your Own Transportation.
• Able to Pass a 10 Panel Drug Screen, Saliva or Urinalysis.
• A Clean Background with NO Felony Conviction.

• A Solid work history.
• Minimum 2 years of Mechanical and/or Work Related Experience.
• Working knowledge of hand/power tools.
• Working knowledge of inspection equipment: Veneer Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, etc.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Proficient using the Metric System.
• Good Problem Solving Skills.
• Machining and Electrical experience & knowledge a PLUS.
• Industrial Maintenance experience a PLUS.
