Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Medical/Surgical nursing for a travel assignment in Akron, Ohio. This role involves providing care in a fast-paced 28-bed unit, known for its focus on respiratory ailments, including trach and chronic ventilator patients. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in med/surg nursing with the ability to float as needed.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with respiratory ailments
• Manage trach and chronic ventilator patients
• Float to different units as required
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with patient ratios of 1:5/6
• Conduct phlebotomy as part of patient care

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• BLS certification
• Accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE
• 2+ years of recent med/surg experience in trach/chronic vent patient care
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience
• Willingness to work shifts including every other weekend
• Experience with Epic systems
• LTACH experience preferred
