Job Title: Engineering/Maintenance Coordinator
Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Engineering/Maintenance Coordinator to manage both planned and unplanned maintenance activities. This role is crucial in ensuring that equipment, systems, and parts operate efficiently. You will be responsible for managing maintenance schedules, collaborating with internal teams, and supporting procurement and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians to identify equipment, parts, or systems requiring repair or replacement.
• Communicate maintenance needs to purchasing and management teams to ensure timely procurement and approvals.
• Monitor daily maintenance activities to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Evaluate and adjust maintenance schedules to avoid conflicts and accommodate urgent requests.
• Intake and prioritize unplanned maintenance requests, assigning appropriate resources to address them.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
• Provide ongoing support to maintenance staff, including updates, resources, and time adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to maintain adherence to maintenance timelines.
• Assist in sourcing and procuring necessary parts and equipment.
• Generate and present maintenance activity reports to management as required.

• Experience in maintenance coordination or scheduling, preferably in an industrial or facilities environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.

• Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent maintenance needs effectively.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
