Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Follow established safety protocols and procedures in all shipping, material handling, and welding activities.
  • Operate orbital welding systems and related machinery for thin-wall stainless steel tubing.

  • Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including checking incoming materials and preparing outgoing shipments.
  • Perform material handling duties such as moving, staging, and organizing inventory and components.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to load, unload, and transport materials.
  • Package finished products carefully to protect weld integrity and meet customer and internal requirements.
  • Support inventory control activities by organizing stock and assisting with counts as needed.
  • Work independently with moderate supervision, prioritizing tasks to support both welding and shipping operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements and refining work practices.

Essential Skills

  • Hands-on welding experience or recent graduation from a welding school.
  • Basic understanding of weld quality requirements and inspection standards.
  • Ability to conduct visual inspection of welds for quality compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with moderate supervision.

  • Material handling skills, including safe movement and organization of inventory.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and related material handling equipment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills in both welding and shipping tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with orbital welding systems designed to standardize weld quality on thin-wall stainless steel tube.

  • Experience with packaging finished goods to protect components during storage and shipment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for performing minor equipment adjustments and maintenance.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with welders and supervisors.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment, processes, and quality standards.

Why Work Here?

You join a production environment that values skill development, safety, and quality. The role offers the opportunity to grow your welding expertise on advanced orbital systems while gaining broad experience in shipping, receiving, and material handling. You work with supportive colleagues who encourage continuous improvement and provide guidance as you build your technical capabilities.
