• Job Title: Pediatric Echo Tech – Cardiac Sonographer
• Employment Type: Travel Contract
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital – Cardiology Unit
• Location: Akron, Ohio (Zip: 44302)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 09/22/2025 – End: 12/22/2025)
• Shift: Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (8-hour shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,370 - $2,430
• On-Call: Required
• Floating: Required to various supported locations
• Charting System: Epic (preferred)
• Scrub Color: Any

Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech or Cardiac Sonographer, including pediatric echocardiography
• BSN required for consideration
• ARDMS RCCS and ARDMS PE (Pediatric Echocardiography Registry) certifications required
• Active Ohio Echo Tech license required at time of submission
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to float to competent units as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Echo Tech Responsibilities – Pediatric Cardiology

• Perform pediatric cardiac sonography procedures in a hospital outpatient setting
• Operate specialized echocardiography equipment to obtain high-quality cardiac images
• Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver outstanding patient care
• Accurately document findings and patient information using the Epic charting system
• Participate in on-call rotation and float to various healthcare locations as required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment in compliance with hospital standards
