Construction Estimator

Job Description: Will to review superintendent candidates that are interested in estimating.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.

• Develop quantity takeoffs using software such as PlanSwift and Building Connected.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors during the bidding process.

• Evaluate subcontractor bids and vendor proposals for accuracy and completeness.

• Prepare and present bid packages, budgets, and proposals to internal and external stakeholders.

• Maintain historical cost data and update pricing databases regularly.

• Participate in value engineering and risk analysis to optimize project costs.

• Track and report on estimating performance and project outcomes.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience

• Proficiency with Bluebeam preferred

• Experience in pre-construction estimating preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
