Landscape Construction Team Lead

As a Landscape Construction Team Lead, you will play a key role in supervising and working alongside a small team to install a variety of landscape projects, including patios, retaining walls, drainage systems, outdoor living areas, and fiberglass pools. Responsibilities

• Supervise and work alongside a 2 - 3 person crew to safely and efficiently complete landscape construction projects.
• Lead the installation of landscape beds, patios, retaining walls, drainage systems, outdoor living areas, and fiberglass pools.
• Operate landscape construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, saws, grinders, laser levels, and hand tools.
• Coordinate daily activities and project updates with the Manager to ensure project goals are met.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of company vehicles, equipment, and job sites.
• Accurately track job progress and crew hours using LMN (Landscape Management Software).
• Clean and inspect all equipment at the start and end of each day.
• Organize and maintain the shop area after work completion.
• Load trucks with necessary tools and materials for daily assignments.
• Review daily schedules and lead team members to job sites, ensuring efficient and timely work.
• Manage route adjustments, site changes, or issues, and communicate with the supervisor as needed.
• Support snow removal operations during the winter season as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscape installation and supervising crews.
• Ability to work 40 - 50 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, with occasional Fridays and Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Skilled in working with natural stone and man-made stone/pavers for patios, walls, and outdoor living areas.
• Valid driver's license (must be insurable under company policy).
• Availability for snow removal operations during the winter season.
• Experience using LMN or other mobile time tracking applications (preferred).

Compensation

Hourly Wage: $25 - $30/hour plus bonuses based on performance and project completion.
$10/hour Snow Removal Bonus
