Permitting Project Manager/Engineer - Conveyor Systems

Type: Direct Hire

Salary - 80k to 130k Base

Work Style: Remote with (30% Travel depending on time of projects)

Overview:

A fast-growing supplier of conveyor equipment serving retail, e-commerce, and distribution sectors is seeking a skilled and motivated Permitting Engineer. This role involves creating and reviewing permitting packages for conveyor systems across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional codes, and developing system layouts using proprietary products.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review permitting drawing sets and calculations for code compliance.

Participate in virtual meetings with jurisdictional reviewers.

Design conveyor systems based on customer requirements.

Produce engineering drawings for permits, proposals, and installations.

Generate bills of material and routings for cost estimation and manufacturing.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D required; Inventor/Navisworks/SolidWorks 3D preferred.

Familiarity with building codes and permitting plans.

Experience in parcel/distribution/e-commerce conveyor systems preferred.

This is a Permanent position based out of Port Clinton, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
