Assistant Teacher
Eick Global STEM Academy is a small business in Monroe, OH. We are professional, creative, and our goal is to develop innovative thinkers and the design process in our students!
We are looking for a dedicated and dependable teacher to join our team to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our preschool students.
9:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday with 60-minute lunch.
- Free childcare for one child.
- Individual Medical/Dental/Vision available after 90 days.

- Support to earn Child Development Associate (CDA).
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a passion for teaching young children.
- Have the ability to create and implement creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Have the ability to create engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Have the ability to foster positive relationships with parents/guardians and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Create and Implement lesson plans for children.
- Supervise and monitor the safety of all children in the classroom and beyond.
- Be responsible for diaper changes and toilet training when applicable.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Organize activities that develop motor skills, social skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Assist with activities of daily living.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent education.
We offer training for new staff where one can earn their Child Development Associate (CDA) if they do not already have a higher educational degree. We have a great collaborative team and a supportive administration.
