Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience - Ability to float to other units as needed - Traveler must work at least every other holiday - Acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate required during orientation Description: This role involves providing care to patients in a Med/Surg Tele unit. Registered Nurses are expected to assess patient needs and implement care plans. Nurses will monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed. Interdisciplinary collaboration is essential for optimal patient outcomes. Nurses may need to float to other units to meet patient care needs. Potential for variable shifts to fulfill operational requirements. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition.
