About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established manufacturer of machining centers, is seeking a bilingual Sales & Technical Support Specialist to join their growing team in Cincinnati, OH. This role will involve supporting equipment sales and installation, facilitating communication between English- and Japanese-speaking teams, and providing interpretation and translation support for technical and business discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and support the sale of machining centers to automotive and manufacturing clients
- Act as an interpreter and translator (Japanese English) during meetings, site visits, emails, and documentation
- Support installation projects and coordinate with engineers and customer teams
- Handle general office tasks including report preparation, email correspondence, and participation in conference calls
- Collaborate with cross-cultural teams locally and abroad
- Travel for business domestically and internationally as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Business-level fluency in Japanese and English (written and verbal)
- Experience in the automotive or industrial equipment sector
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
- Ability to travel internationally (e.g., Japan, Mexico, Canada)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Familiarity with Japanese business culture and work style
